Light
Bright rooms are fine, but avoid direct sun patches and intense spotlights aimed at the print.
Official Canvas Prints Ltd. care centre
Clear, practical help for hanging, caring for, and enjoying your canvas print - directly from the family-owned company behind it.
A confident start
These instructions are a general starting point for a lightweight stretched canvas. Your wall material and canvas size determine the correct hardware.
Avoid direct sun, heat vents, damp areas, and places where the canvas may be bumped.
Identify drywall, wood, masonry, or another surface. Select properly rated fasteners.
Mark two support points so the weight is shared and the top edge sits level.
Hold the frame, not the printed face. Lower it onto the supports and test gently.
Safety comes first. Check for wiring and plumbing before drilling. Never rely on an un-rated fastener. For oversized work, difficult walls, or high-risk positions, use a professional installer.
Short video guide
The video demonstrates the simple two-support approach used for many lightweight stretched canvases. Match all hardware to your wall type and the actual weight of your print.

A few gentle habits protect the surface, stretcher bars, and colour for years.
Bright rooms are fine, but avoid direct sun patches and intense spotlights aimed at the print.
Keep the canvas away from steam, condensation, damp basements, and large humidity swings.
Use a clean, soft, dry brush or microfiber cloth. Use minimal pressure and never scrub the weave.
Never spray water, glass cleaner, solvents, or household cleaners onto the canvas surface.
Use clean, dry hands and hold the solid frame edges. Do not press fingers into the printed face.
Protect the face and corners with clean, non-abrasive material. Never place weight on the canvas.

If something does not look right, stop before cleaning or forcing the frame and contact us.
No. Do not spray water, glass cleaner, solvents, or household cleaner onto the canvas. Start with a clean, soft, dry brush or microfiber cloth and very light pressure.
Frequent steam, grease, and humidity changes can affect both the canvas and wood stretcher bars. A dry room with a stable environment is safer.
Use hardware rated for the actual weight and wall construction. For oversized work, high placements, masonry, or any uncertainty, use a qualified installer.
No. Canadian production is handled in our Alberta workshop. Calgary, Edmonton, Markham, and Surrey are staffed partner counters that receive completed pickup packages.
